If so, Signature Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for you to join our client, at a prestigious London university, as a Programme Officer. This is a temporary, full-time position starting immediately for three months. It is offered on a hybrid working arrangement with two days on campus and the balance from home.

As a Programme Officer, you will play an important role in the student lifecycle. You will use your experience in student support to manage high volumes of queries, via Teams, busy inboxes and directly with students. Your ability to resolve inquiries and signpost as needed will be essential. In addition, you will provide valuable administrative assistance to the team in order to ensure the seamless operation of the student journey from pre-enrolment activities, induction and registration through to courses, assessments, graduation and beyond.

Programme Officer Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a first point of contact - resolving student and academic inquiries via Teams, telephone and in person, providing excellent customer service and escalating as necessary
  • Managing inboxes, assisting with email triage
  • Contributing to the student journey with module, programme evaluation, assessment and mitigating circumstance processes
  • Maintaining accurate student records and ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards
  • Assisting with organising activities and events throughout the academic year
  • Servicing Committee Meetings as and when required

Programme Officer Key Skills:

  • Experience in an administrative and student-facing role within a higher education setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service
  • A personable and professional team player with excellent time management, multi-tasking, organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in IT systems including Microsoft Office as well as the ability to work on new systems including Students Record databases
