My client, a school based in around Clapham area, are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team. This temporary position offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The role is pivotal in providing top-notch administrative support and customer service to staff, students, and visitors.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Deliver comprehensive administrative and business support to the senior leadership team, school office, teaching staff, and students.
  • Produce and manage detailed data, charts, reports, and spreadsheets to tight deadlines.
  • Undertake reception duties, professionally handling enquiries and providing a positive experience for all visitors.
  • Assist with HR and Admissions administration/data entry during peak periods.
  • Handle general telephone enquiries, ensuring messages are communicated effectively.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including presentations, database management, photocopying, and correspondence.
  • Raise purchase orders and ensure compliance with the school’s finance regulations.
  • Provide cover for other admin staff as needed, for example during absences.
  • Assist with student first aid and welfare duties, and participate in the First Aid rota.
  • Understand and act in accordance with child protection and safeguarding policies

Candidates must be registered to the DBS update service. Alternatively, a DBS check will be required.
