A successful law firm in the legal 500 is seeking a Team Administrator, paying up to £30,000 plus benefits, to join one of their award-winning teams.

The Team Administrator will be supporting the Clinical Negligence team with all of the day-to-day administration, assisting to provide the best service and experience to their clients. The team provides advice to clients on the Claimant side, drawing on extensive experience with claims across all areas of medical treatments.

This is a highly exciting and interesting area of law, and will have great growth and development opportunities.

Duties will include the following:

  • Diary management for fee earners
  • Prepare travel itineraries and booking transport
  • Produce frequent summaries of accounts ledgers and ensure that all balances are tidied or cleared wherever possible
  • Raising invoices for clients
  • General administrative support for the team including filing, photocopying, monitoring post
  • Formatting and producing documents and any other relevant documentation
  • Assisting fee-earners with the opening of new files
  • Uploading of documents to DocuSign and proclaim and preparing for signature, downloading and saving once signed
  • Receiving phone calls from clients; routing them or taking messages as appropriate, liaising with external clients
  • Organising and maintaining tidy and accurate files both in hard copy and electronically; Carrying out file closure work when required
  • Copy typing and document processing
  • Any other ad-hoc administrative duties for the team

The ideal candidate will come from either a legal or professional services background and have an interest in pursuing a career within legal administration. Other backgrounds will be considered, but the above will be the most desirable. You will be highly organised and excel in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail as well as the ability to prioritise tasks. Process driven, you will enjoy working to strict guidelines as well as the ability to produce documentation to a high standard.
