The salary for this permanent Advanced Physiotherapist job is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of neurorehabilitation patients, including tasks such as admission assessments, goal-setting, treatment planning, equipment provision, orthotics, and discharge planning. Deliver high-quality physiotherapy care to neuro patients.
  • Provide clinical support across various hospital areas, including PICU, orthopaedic surgery, and cardio-thoracic surgery.
  • Utilise expert clinical reasoning to deliver specialist interventions, support, and advice to patients, ensuring best practice is consistently applied.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and concise treatment records detailing each patient's treatment plan and progress.
  • Ensure physiotherapy sessions start on time and that patients are appropriately charged for their treatment.
  • Work flexibly according to the service's needs, participating in the out-of-hours, weekend, and standby service as required.

Requirements of the Advanced Physiotherapist:

  • Hold a degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Possess extensive specialist experience in paediatric neurology and rehabilitation.
  • Demonstrated experience working in both in-patient and out-patient settings within an acute hospital environment.
  • Experience working across various physiotherapy disciplines, including rotational roles.
