London - Fully Remote

Opportunity to join a small firm who work fully remotely and meet up regularly to discuss projects.
Initially you will work alongside the Technical Director for 2 days per week, until you are settled in. The role would then revert to a fully remote role.
The team have plans to develop and move the company forward over the next few years, and you will contribute to this journey and have as much input as you feel comfortable with.
The firm has diversified and, as well as traditional building structures, they work on air space developments and candidates with light gauge steel experience would have an advantage. Knowledge of SCIA is preferred along with an ability and willingness to do drawings occasionally. Although they are a small firm, they use modern 3D modelling, analysis and drafting software for all projects.
Their projects are mainly based in London in prime locations and include modular penthouses and multi storey residential structures in concrete frames.
The successful candidate will be Chartered, either MIStructE or MICE, with excellent problem solving and analytical skills. You must be comfortable working independently and be able to perform construction related services.
Experience collaborating with architects and contractors is a must, as you will attend periodic site visits to discuss design and construction.
