Are you ready to take the lead and shape the future of a brand-new Structural Engineering department? This is a unique opportunity to step into a Director-level role within a highly regarded multi-disciplinary consultancy, now expanding into the structural sector.

In this newly created position, you'll have the autonomy to build and grow the department from the ground up - leading on design, managing a variety of exciting projects, and playing a pivotal role in the company's strategic growth.

This is a real chance to put your stamp on something meaningful.

Do you have a strong background in Commercial and Residential projects? Are you passionate about leadership and ready to take your career to the next level?

With a strong presence across the South and into Warwickshire, this consultancy has earned a solid reputation for quality, client relationships, and repeat business. Now, as they diversify into Structural Engineering, they're looking for an experienced and motivated engineer to lead the way.

In the early stages, you'll be hands-on - delivering technical work, designing, and ensuring high-quality output. Over time, you'll take a leading role in scaling the department, recruiting new team members, and building efficient workflows to support long-term success.

This is ideal for a senior engineer who's feeling limited in their current role and is hungry for a bigger challenge with a clear route to senior leadership.

The Role:
* Lead and shape the new Structural Engineering department
* Deliver high-quality designs and calculations across Commercial and Residential schemes
* Engage directly with clients and internal teams to develop innovative structural solutions
* Use structural design software including Tedds, Tekla Structural Designer, and AutoCAD

The Person:
* Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Ideally chartered, or working towards chartership
* Strong experience in Commercial and Residential sectors
* Confident using structural design tools (e.g., Tedds, Tekla, AutoCAD)
* Full UK driving licence
