Assistant Director – Brand and Communications
£63,519 to £67,243 per annum including London Weighting
Location: Hybrid- (Richmond, Uxbridge, Harrow)

The Talent Set is thrilled to be partnering with an ambitious College group on a really exciting and new Assistant Director opportunity within their Marketing and Communications function. In this role you will oversee the development and evolution of their brands, ensuring the storytelling is distinctive, clear and resonates with their different audiences and diverse student community.  
Key Responsibilities;
The Assistant Director of Brand and Communications will have the following responsibilities;

  • Develop a compelling brand narrative across the college group to protect and grow our brands
  • Responsibility for brand governance and ensuring consistency and quality across our colleges
  • Establishing protocols for the management of existing brands, and assessment of risks and opportunities prior to the acquisition of any future brands
  • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for brand initiatives and campaigns
  • Regularly analysing and reporting on the performance of brand activities, using data-driven insights to refine strategies
  • Identifying exciting new routes for brand growth through improved brand awareness, recognition, sponsorship, partnership, and collaboration opportunities

Person Specification
The successful Assistant Director of Brand and Communications should ideally have the following skillset;

  • A strong track record in creating and maintaining a compelling brand narrative
  • Experience in brand governance, ensuring consistency and quality across all marketing touchpoints
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to build positive partnerships
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong experience in conducting and leading market research, competitor analysis, and understanding core audiences and personas

The postholder will need to be willing and able to travel across all College sites (Uxbridge, Harrow and Richmond).
