Role Overview:As a Sales Executive based in Accounting & Professional Services, you will be at the forefront of driving new business and accelerating revenue growth by selling our innovative platform into the accountancy sector. You’ll work closely with accounting firms, understanding their unique needs and demonstrating how our solution can revolutionize their practice, streamline operations, and unlock new revenue opportunities.

As a Sales Executive based in Commercial Lending & Alternative Business Lending, you will be responsible for driving new business and accelerating revenue growth by selling our innovative platform into the business lending sectors. You’ll work closely with lenders, and financial institutions, understanding their needs and demonstrating how our solution can transform their operations and improve financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and target high-potential accounting firms, driving new customer acquisition within the UK market.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets, focusing on long-term client relationships and strategic selling.
  • Consultative Selling: Engage with partners, directors, and senior stakeholders at accountancy firms to understand their challenges and position our platform as the ideal solution.
  • Product Demonstrations: Deliver tailored product demos, showcasing the value of our financial data analytics platform for accountants and their clients.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about trends in the accountancy sector, identifying opportunities for product positioning and market expansion.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Managing Director, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging, product enhancements, and client onboarding.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage a robust sales pipeline, progressing prospects through the sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance updates, and market insights to senior leadership.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven Sales Experience: 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally within the accounting, professional services, or financial technology sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the accountancy market, including practice operations and advisory services, is a strong advantage.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Proven ability to engage with senior decision-makers, understand client needs, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Track Record of Success: Consistent history of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Strong Communicator: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with SaaS platforms, CRM tools, and data-driven sales approaches.
