We are seeking a highly organised, numerate, and bright individual with previous experience for an exciting opportunity in our client's expanding finance team. Our client is a highly successful business and a well-established leader in their sector. This role is ideal for someone looking to advance their career in finance, with a strong desire to learn and improve processes.Skills and responsibilities
- Processing Invoices in an accurate and timely manner
- Schedule and prepare payment to suppliers
- Reconcile creditor accounts with supplier statements
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Resolve issues efficiently and effectively
- Assist with monthly reports and yearend procedures
- Identify and resolve payments queries actively work to reduce the volume
What are we looking for in our successful candidate?
Ideally you will have at least 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable and finance supporting roles, including experience of reconciliations.Good analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to consistently produce accurate results to deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills - customer focused attitude, ability to cope with high volumes and peak periods
- Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
- Understanding of debits and credits
