Are you a Bookkeeper with at least 2 years experience (or more) of general bookkeeping and VAT experience in a good quality accountancy practice firm? Are you looking to continue your AAT or ACCA studies with an entrepreneurial central London based accountancy firm that specialises in working with very high profile music related clients, particularly US based music clients that are touring in the UK and Europe? Based in the busy Business Management department, your role will be hands on and will include: managing your own portfolio of clients (which will start off small but grow very quickly), bookkeeping assignments using Quickbooks and Xero, processing client payment runs, sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, expenses and invoices, preparing VAT returns as well as being trained so that you can produce tour accounts for music bands and artists that are on tour. Training will be provided where required and study support for the AAT or ACCA offered.
To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be either an Accounts Assistant, Trainee Accountant or Bookkeeper with at least 2 years experience working for a good quality accountancy practice firm, carrying out general bookkeeping and VAT duties. You must now be looking to upgrade to a medium size (50 staff) accountancy firm based in Central London where you will work with musicians, bands and music artists that are on tour in the UK and abroad. You will be looking to upgrade to a busy and rapidly growing firm and continue to learn new accountancy and bookkeeping skills and work with impressive music based clients to improve your technical knowledge. Experience of Quickbooks and Xero would be an advantage but not essential.
