Facilities Manager (London-based) Location: West EndType: Full time, 12 month FTC, Office-BasedSalary: £50-65,000 depending on experienceAbout the Role:A leading banking client is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the efficient management of office facilities across multiple sites, including their primary locations in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of office buildings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing vendors, and coordinating the logistics of an upcoming office move. The role will also involve planning and managing various facilities projects to enhance operational efficiency and support employee productivity.

Key Responsibilities:The Facilities Manager will oversee the operations of all facilities, ensuring that maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards are met across all sites. This includes ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and health & safety standards, conducting regular audits, and managing fire and security alarm systems. The manager will also lead office moves and reconfigurations, collaborating with internal teams to optimise space usage and improve the overall work environment. Additionally, the role involves developing and managing the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions, and providing sustainability reporting. The successful candidate will implement energy efficiency and waste reduction strategies in line with environmental regulations such as BREEAM and WELL, while ensuring emergency resources, including Fire Wardens and First Aiders, are in place.

Key Competencies:The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently. A keen attention to detail and strong administrative abilities are essential, as well as the ability to handle complex situations with a hands-on approach.
