You will be working for a well-known NHS hospital based in London.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Senior Employee Relations Advisor will be as follows:

  • Employee Relations specifically in managing sickness absence cases (long term and short term) up to hearing stage.
  • Handle a variety of complex and sensitive cases.
  • Knowledge of flexible working applications and other Employee Relation cases to support the ER Advisors as well as deal with providing general HR advice to managers and staff.

Profile

The successful Senior Employee Relations Advisor will possess the following:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience ideally with a minimum of a level 5 CIPD qualification.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of working at a senior HR/ER level.
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law, ACAS Codes of Good Practice and their practical application.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with managers and staff to enable the provision of an effective and efficient ER service within the Trust.
  • Ability to analyse and problem solve from complex information and communicate with managers and staff to assist in determining informed decisions.
  • Familiar with electronic HR reporting and recording systems and producing reports as required.

Job Offer

This is a temporary role for 3 months

  • You will be required to work on-site 5 days per week
  • Hourly rate of 24.05/hour inc holiday pay
