We are recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor to work onsite at London City Airport.

Duties:

To provide comprehensive, pragmatic, and customer focused HR and business support and advice to team. Assisting management and employees with first line advice and support with all employee relations cases. you will ensure that all HR queries are dealt with promptly and reliably; escalating to the HR and Development Manager where required. Monitoring and managing all HR related processes to always ensure compliance and good practice and case administration.

To oversee all recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring all process and procedures are adhered to and conducted in a timely fashion.

To support the Head of HR with the delivery of the HR strategy and any HR related projects as identified. Providing HR metrics and reporting as required.

You will have strong communication and organisational skills and be able to build positive working relationships with all levels of management and non-management, be a team player and be very resilient, self-confident, and persuasive in nature.

Human Resources

  • Dealing with various HR queries. Acting as the first point of contact.
  • Handling HR matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements.
  • To support relevant ER related meetings and hearings from investigation to appeal.
  • Monitoring all HR processes in particular Office 365 forms
  • Managing employee relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing expectations.
  • Partnering with Management to build a sound understanding of the individual departments and teams. To be able to anticipate and respond to people and performance challenges as well as emerging business issues.
  • Supporting Management with HR related queries and ER case management from inception to completion.
  • Partnering with HR and Development Manager to review employee relations, performance, and absence management case metrics and reporting.
  • Supporting the HR and Development Manager with various HR related projects.
  • To oversee the Occupational Health referral process using the PHC Portal for referrals and case management.
  • To ensure all employee personnel files are updated with all relevant documentation as required.

Recruitment and onboarding

  • Oversee all recruitment, ensuring all process and procedures are adhered to and conducted in a timely fashion.
  • Supporting the Station Manager with all probation reviews ensuring that they are conducted in a timely fashion and inline with company policy and procedure.
  • Provide support to line managers for induction of new starters, with particular emphasis on ensuring that all new starters are made aware of key corporate HR policies, procedures, company benefits and how these are implemented locally (e.g., absence reporting procedures etc.)

Payroll

  • To oversee the payroll process, Liaising with the Planning and Payroll team where required.
  • To ensure all overtime, expenses, and all statutory payments are made.
  • Ensure all Employee Change Notices (ECN's) are raised and submitted in a timely fashion.
  • Monitor and manage all right to work entitlements to ensure legal compliance.
