We are seeking a highly competent Senior HR Advisor to provide comprehensive HR support across two College sites in SE London.

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the Senior HR Advisor will provide advice on employee relations, legislation guidance and contract issues.

You will deliver effective best practice across key operational areas including recruitment, onboarding & induction, terms & conditions of service, sickness absence management and employee relations cases., and be experienced in dealing with Union Representatives.

The Senior HR Advisor will be familiar with HR information systems and you will be supported by a HR apprentice.

The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level including English & Maths with a minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification or hold a relevant degree. You will be experienced in working with trade unions and have a solid understanding of the Burgundy Book. You will be up to date on employment legislation, be highly organised and can manage difficult and sensitive situations in a confidential and professional manner.
