We are seeking a creative, energetic, and highly skilled Head Chef to oversee the kitchen operations at an exciting office location for a prestigious insurance company in the heart of the City. This full-time role will involve working Monday to Friday, where youll be responsible for producing high-quality dishes for a variety of internal hospitality needs.
About the Role:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Oversee kitchen operations, including production for the pop-up, daily canapé production for the brokers lounge, and hospitality lunches.
- Work independently in the kitchen, liaising with a small hospitality front of house team.
- Organise and manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and presentation.
- Ability to work alone and stay organised under pressure is essential.
- Collaborate with the hospitality team to deliver outstanding food experiences.

About You:
- A passion for food, especially fresh, seasonal ingredients and local suppliers
- Ability to maintain and deliver high standards in line with our companys vision and values
- Financial understanding of dish costings, gross profit, and stock taking
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to stay organised while working alone
- Comfort with lone working and self-direction
- Up-to-date with current food trends, new ideas, and market styles
- Basic understanding of Outlook, Excel, and Word
- A commitment to delivering high-quality food experiences to clients, colleagues, and guests
