Following the successful tenure of our previous candidate (who is now moving on, after six rewarding years) we are eager to welcome a skilled and passionate individual to take on this vital role.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level IT professional seeking a fulfilling career move. As the on-site expert, you will play a crucial role in supporting the school's technology infrastructure while benefiting from the valuable resources and expertise available within their wider network.

This position demands creative problem-solving and a passion for exploring innovative IT solutions. You'll be constantly challenged to think outside the box:

Experience within the Education sector is highly desirable with this position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the reliability, performance, and availability of the school’s IT infrastructure
  • Supporting rollouts of 1:1 devices of a mixed type - including iPads -iPhones ( so experience of implementing Apple technology is desired) , Chromebooks and portable Window devices
  • Experience of implementing Google technology in an education environment- Also a good understanding of SIMS
  • Understand the role of technology in the classroom and proactively identify areas of enhancement
  • Administering virtualised server infrastructure - being sure of constant uptime.
  • You will be supporting a User base of nearly 400 - and over 400 networked devices
  • Manage IT investment in line with delegated budgets.
  • Patching software and hardware to maintain cyber security and data integrity
  • Provide Cyber security awareness to staff.
