Job Title: Senior Surveyor
Location: East London
Contract Details: Temporary, Full Time
Salary: £35 p/h PAYE - £45 p/h Umbrella

Responsibilities:As a Senior Surveyor, you will:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of over 600 commercial properties, ensuring compliance and maximisation of income.
- Lead negotiations with community and voluntary sector tenants.
- Prepare and present reports to elected members.
- Implement the Council's asset management policies and ensure high standards of property management.
- Engage proactively with tenants to build strong relationships and resolve issues effectively.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Member or Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
- In-depth knowledge of commercial property estate management and Landlord and Tenant legislation.
- Proven experience managing a large mixed-use commercial property portfolio.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and property management databases.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare complex reports.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Experience working with community and voluntary sector tenants.
- Skills in problem-solving and managing conflicting priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and elected members.

- IT applications related to property management
