THE ROLE:

As Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in securing bigger budget projects, repositioning sales strategy around quality over cost, and building long-term partnerships with key industry players.

 

  • Source clients with higher-budget studio films and high-end TV opportunities, positioning our client as a go-to partner for premium productions.
  • Shift the company’s sales approach from a price-based model to one centered on quality, innovation, and creative excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their present and future needs
  • Work closely with  VFX team to generate quotes, leading negotiations and closing project contracts.
  • Utilise your own industry connections to proactively pitch our client’s services and drive new business opportunities.

 

THE PERSON:

With a proven track record in a senior commercial role within the VFX industry, you will demonstrate a strong ability to lead business development efforts and achieve sales targets.

You will also have:

  • Previous experience of pitching to and closing deals with US film studios and UK high-end drama production companies.
  • Deep understanding of VFX Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
  • Familiarity with end-to-end production workflows and industry best practices Exceptional client relationship management skills.
  • The ability to think strategically and anticipate and capitalise on market trends
