Our client, a globally recognized advertising agency based in London, are seeking a commercially driven and resilient individual with an analytical mind to join their team as a Senior Commercial Manager. As part of the growing team, you will have the opportunity to work with like-minded individuals and contribute to the growth and success of our clients and the business.

The role is on a 12-month maternity leave contract. You must be immediately available or able to start mid-November.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the principal UK and/or EMEA point of contact for management information relating to a portfolio of clients.
  • Collaborate with client team leads to identify opportunities for increased revenues and maximized profitability.
  • Lead financial modeling for respective clients and ensure revenue recognition aligns with company policies.
  • Support the Head of Commercial and Financial Controller in forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Monitor actual and forecast KPIs, including client revenue, profitability, and resource utilization.
  • Understand the key commercial aspects of client contracts and manage client and contractual legal queries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements and manage contract compliance audits.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and revenue recognition skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
  • Ability to form effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach to work and projects.

Day-to-Day

  • Collaborate with client team leads and departmental heads to prepare and negotiate client fees.
  • Conduct regular revenue reviews and respond to ad-hoc commercial queries from the group.
  • Work closely with the commercial team, Head of Commercial, and Financial Controller on a weekly basis.
