Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum (DOE)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Manager & Qualified Supervisor to join a growing team. This role will involve overseeing various social housing contracts, managing site supervisors, field engineers, and subcontractors, while ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:-
Act as the main point of contact for site supervisors, field engineers, and subcontractors.

Oversee the financial performance and reporting of all projects.

Manage and coordinate works from design through to completion and handover.

Ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects within budget.

Plan, organise, and allocate suitable labour and resources.

Oversee material deliveries and maintain project specifications.

Manage, motivate, and support site staff and subcontractors.

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.

Conduct regular review meetings with clients and internal teams.

Oversee verification of inspection & test results and ensure documentation accuracy.

Keep up to date with industry regulations including BS7671, BS5839, and BS5266.

Register as the Qualifying Supervisor for the electrical division and participate in NICEIC assessments.

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

City & Guilds 18th Edition
-
Inspection and Testing 2391 or equivalent

Strong fault-finding and test & inspection experience

Minimum 7 years of electrical experience

At least 3 years of management experience, including as a QS

Experience in social housing, domestic, and commercial sectors (including EICRs, fire alarms, and emergency lighting)

Good operational and commercial awareness

Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations

Full UK driving licence

Previous experience as the main NICEIC QS
