We have a fantastic opportunity within our Asset Management team for an Assistant Project Manager based at Stratford.

The Role

The primary responsibility of the Assistant Project Manager is to support the development and execution of projects throughout the organization to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets within established parameters. This includes providing support to project teams to ensure compliance with project governance practices, as well as overseeing project delivery in alignment with ISO 55001 Asset Management System and annual certifications.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

- Collaborating with Project Managers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations such as CDM.

- Assisting in the preparation of accurate budget estimates and ongoing expenditure forecasts.

- Contributing to the delivery of high-quality project management services to clients, including monitoring and reporting on project progress.

- Participating in the development of procurement strategies and contractual agreements with suppliers, while maintaining professional relationships to enhance productivity and minimize risks.

- Ensuring a safe work environment during project execution, including the development of safety plans and related documentation.

- Supporting the HSQ Manager by reporting safety issues and providing practical assistance based on safety knowledge and experience.

- Assisting the project team in compiling evidence packs for external entities such as ERMA and DfT.

- Facilitating the closure of projects by preparing Handover packs and coordinating with the Asset Management Team and contractors.

Overall, the Assistant Project Manager plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of projects by providing comprehensive support and ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
