Job Title: Technical Trainer - IT Infrastructure
Location: London
Salary/Rate: Up to 380 per day (Inside IR35)
Start Date: 11/11/2024
Job Type: 12-month Contract
My Client is currently seeking a Technical Trainer within IT Infrastructure on an initial 12-month contract. The ideal Infrastructure Engineer will have considerable experience with Databases, Web Application Servers, Cloud Platforms and Unix/Linux Systems.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- Conduct IT Skills gap analyses
- Train new employees on the proper use of IT Infrastructure Technologies and processes
- Understanding of Tomcat & Websphere Application Servers as well as Queuing systems
- Understanding of Databases well covering Oracle, SQL and DB2
- Installation of Applications into the Cloud, ideally having worked in AWS/Azure
- Installing products into Unix/Linux Systems
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Considerable experience within the Infrastructure space
- Familiarity with complex Infrastructure Systems
- Experience producing Training Material (advantageous)
- Proven work experience as an IT Trainer, Technical Trainer or similar role
