Group Credit Controller - About the role

My client are a fast-growing Managing General Agent (MGA) specialising in a diverse range of insurance products.

They are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Group Credit Controller to join their team.

Group Credit Controller - Key duties

You will help in formalising the processes and procedures within the credit control team. You will work to build and maintain strong relationship with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient credit management.

Build strong relationships with the Brokers, identifying key contacts to ensure quick and consistent cash collection

Good understanding of the policies and expected cash

Work closely with the Operations team to ensure correct recording of aged debt

Develop strong and trustworthy reporting on the debt levels

Correct allocation of cash from the bank transactions

Work closely with Treasury in cash flow forecasting for weekly, monthly and yearly view

Key Credit control contact for implementation of new Underwriting and finance system

Focus on automation to allow deep dive into analysis

Group Credit Controller - Key requirements

3+ years of experience in working within Credit control function - ideally within an MGA

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Experience of having setup new processes and procedures within Credit control

Experience of working within International entities with relationships with banks beneficial

Experience of finance systems implementation

Strong reporting skills
