Inventum have partnered with a leading Media & Entertainment business who are looking for a cover, Head of Digital Marketing. This is a 9-month FTC.

Hybrid London

ASAP Start (Ideally immediately available) or can start in November.

This role has a focus on B2B and B2C customers and we need someone with experience across engagement and acquisition marketing channels.

The role oversees all of Engagement and Acquisition specifically: digital performance and presence (websites/e-commerce, paid search, SEO, social media, affiliates), Editorial (on-device, online, offline curation and channel partner marketing relationships), and CRM and Audience (marketing base, segmentation and data compliance), ultimately delivering on lead-generation/sales and customer engagement targets reporting to the Marketing Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Content and Editorial Strategy: Oversee on-device, online, and offline curation, aligning with advertising goals.
  • Digital Presence and Performance: Manage websites, social media, SEO, paid search, CRM, and affiliates; oversee budgets, ROI, and agency partnerships.
  • Audience and CRM: Lead data-first strategy, manage consumer bases, and ensure platform engagement and compliance.
  • Acquisition Strategy: Integrate online and offline touchpoints to attract new audiences and increase platform usage.
  • Website Optimization: Focus on user experience, traffic, and conversion optimization through testing and cross-channel integration.
  • Sales & Partner Collaboration: Oversee relationships and collaboration with partners.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop teams, empowering cross-departmental collaboration.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Proven content/performance marketing and website management experience.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of digital tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, etc.).
  • Proficiency in audience profiling, consumer behaviour, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Agile, fast-paced environment experience.
  • Customer-focused, commercial mindset, resilient, proactive, self-starter, and team player.
  • Passionate about television, open to personal and team development, and embraces diversity.
