PSR Solutions are currently looking for a Document Controller based in West London. This will be working for a Civils contractor who deliver on civils projects around the UK.

Key Areas of Responsibility & Accountability

  • Support team with document control requirements via use of software (AconeX)
  • Download/upload design information as required to project portals/extranets
  • Issue drawings as required by project teams with transmittal sheets
  • Receive information from external parties, log them, distribute to project team as required and file in accordance with IMS procedures
  • Set up and maintain project filing systems
  • Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards. Maintain, monitor and feedback to colleagues on the QA status of the information prior to issue.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to engineers and technicians in response to their specific requirements.
  • Coordinating flow of information both from and to the Project Team i.e. TQ process.
  • Production of Reports and Meeting Outputs on time and to quality relevant to the targeted audience, including liaison with internal and external stakeholders to correctly capture, assign and seek progress updates on actions.
  • Collation of data / information to support team as required

Person Specification

  • You must have previous experience working as a document controller in a construction or engineering environment.
  • IT literacy and competency in programmes such as MS Office and Excel.
  • Attention to detail is essential, you must be well organised and be able to work under pressure and complete tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Experience using AconeX
