Harris Hill is recruiting for a Head of Finance & System Change for this well-established Charity based in London (Hybrid)

  • Hybrid Working: 2 days a week is required at their offices in London.
  • Salary c£65,000pa
  • Reporting to: Director of Finance & Resources
  • Position: Full Time 5 days a week & Permanent
  • Management: 2 Finance staff

The role:

  • The role is to lead on financial systems improvements and procedures and information flow. 
  • To be the systems lead supporting the roll out of the new systems and ongoing leadership of new ways of working.
  • The role will lead on the training of Budget holders across the organisation to run off their own budgets changing the culture. 
  • To review all Finance Processes for efficiency and improvement.
  • To introduce the use of dashboards across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an efficient monthly finance process, producing monthly management and cash flow forecast.
  • To train budget holders on the new system to enable budget holders to access financial information more independently.
  • To oversee the payroll process and to seek process improvements. 
  • Create an environment by which continuous improvement is normal and ensure these improvements are implemented.
  • Prepare the annual financial statement and to manage the annual audit.
  • Design, maintain and review KPIs and dashboards with the team.
