Our client, a market leading business from within the Student Accommodation industry are looking to recruit for a Senior Electrical Engineer to manage a team 6 electrical engineers plus specialist contractors, providing maintenance across 37 London sites.This is an in-house, management role, with an expectation to be 'hands-on' with the tools very occasionally - usually for training purposes or in an emergency. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a step further into a management role or an existing engineering manager, who is looking to develop their career by joining an organisation which offers excellent potential to progress.  Key Responsibilities include: -    Ensuring that Health and Safety legislation is adhered to at all times by them and their team-    Ensuring required training and qualifications required for the role of their team are audited and up to date at all times-    Ensuring a safe and secure working environment at all times-    Completing all paperwork required for property files and ensuring all records of site operation are accurate, structured and compliant with Unite Students policies and procedures-    Working within the required Risk Assessments and Method Statements at all times, accountable for reviewing all tasks for risk before starting and ensuring that risks are eliminated before work begins-    Accountable for conducting inspection of all work areas including vehicles and plant rooms to ensure that high standards are maintained and reporting any issues immediately to the regional technical manager-    Accountable for the performance of the team and will actively participate in performance management conversations and personal development plan  The ideal candidate will already have some experience managing a small team of people. You will be looking to move further into management and, ultimately, away from the tools.Contractually, you will be working 5 days a week, on 8-hour shifts between 8am and 8pm Monday -Sunday. In practice, only very occasional evening/ weekend work is required.Benefits to the role include: -    £47-£55k with a bonus -    Bonus scheme (10%)-    £4k car allowance-     to 11% pension contribution, Healthcare-    Progression Opportunities -    25 days holiday
