Head office based a stones throw from London Bridge (SE1), a vastly experienced team who are able to propose innovative solutions providing an excellent standard of design and installation from start to finish.

With projects valued between £100k - £2m, they believe that their extensive experience, a strategy for providing solutions for small and major projects alike, continual progress evaluation and concise project management knowledge, ensures that electrical installations are undertaken within budget and on time.

care, aiming to forge long-term partnerships with their clients. An impressive company committed to Health & Safety and ensuring continual improvement, with the help of an external consultancy. The consultancy undertake regular audits of internal systems along with Health & Safety on all sites providing support for senior managers and site personnel.

The Role:
 
As an Estimator, your role involves supporting the business by submitting accurate and competitive tenders to meet clients' requirements. This ensures they secure sufficient new business to achieve targeted turnover and profit levels with appropriate year-on-year growth. 
 
Your primary focus will be working as part of a versatile and experienced team on a variety of small & large commercial and residential projects working with some of the largest construction
companies in the UK.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare inquiry schedules and collaborate with the procurement
  • team to select appropriate companies for quotations.
  • Obtain quotations. 
  • Provide all necessary information for the review of contract conditions, insurance, bonds, and warranties.
  • Produce analytical rate build-up information for Bills of Quantities in an accurate and detailed format.
  • Continuously refine analytical cost data based on feedback.
  • Identify and analyse opportunities for a commercial advantage in tenders.
  • Prepare preliminary cost estimates.
  • Prepare commercial documents for tender submission.
What you need:
  • 2-3 years min experience as Estimator in similar sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative attitude.
  • Influencing, negotiation, and delegation skills.
  • Critical analysis and decision-making skills.
  • Awareness of individual Health & Safety responsibilities, adhering to company H/S policies and procedures.
