The role is for an MCS Electrician/Engineer in the Battery Energy/Solar sector, located in the London area with mostly remote work.
The contract is part-time at 20 hours per week, with an initial length of 6 months and the possibility of long-term extension.
Candidates must have experience as a certified Electrician/Engineer working under MCS standards.
The position requires strong technical competence in battery storage and/or solar PV, as well as a proactive mindset and fluency with digital tools.

This is a unique and really interesting position for an innovative and proactive person, to make an impact in a start-up environment.

Role Overview:

Act as the Qualified Technical Person (QTP) for MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) purposes - overseeing all technical aspects of certification.
Design residential and commercial battery systems.
Conduct surveys (remote and on-site).
Lead and manage G98/G99 applications and approvals

Essential Skills:

Experience as a certified Electrician / Engineer working under MCS.
Strong technical competence in battery storage and/or solar PV, in line with MCS standards.
Proactive mindset
Fluency with digital tools and a dislike for paper-based processes.
Access to a vehicle for site visits (when required)
