We are seeking a motivated and experienced Band 7 Rotational Wards Pharmacist to join a dynamic pharmacy team in East London. • Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist – Band 7
• Location: London
• Duration: 6 months minimum
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 9am – 5pm, 30-minute break.
• Start Date: October/November 2024

• Rate of pay: £28– 33ph depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients across various wards.
• Participate in clinical ward rounds, providing expert medication advice to healthcare teams.
• Conduct medication reviews, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines.
• Support the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Provide education and training to pharmacy and healthcare staff.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to audit activities.
• Support the supervision and training of junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
  
  

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting, preferably within an acute care environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
  
  

Desirable Qualifications:

• Postgraduate clinical diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a rotational pharmacist role.
• Knowledge of NHS policies and procedures.
