Pod Talent is excited to work with a pioneering plant-based food brand that's gained widespread recognition for its innovative recipes and they are looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join their team in London.

In this role, you will ensure that the products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance from supplier approval to product testing.

This a fantastic opportunity to join a B-Corp company with a meaningful impact on food choices and sustainability and 7 million of their products are sold in UK supermarkets.

In this role, you will…

  • Manage the quality assurance lifecycle, including drafting project timelines
  • Define milestones and ensure seamless progress through each phase
  • Manage BRC Agents and Brokers certification and work with our 3PL partners ensure BRC Storage and Distribution compliance
  • New supplier approval and risk assessment with annual reviews
  • Product incident management encompassing recalls and withdrawals

About you…

  • Proven experience in quality assurance, with a preference for those skilled in the plant-based sector
  • A solid understanding of food technology, nutrition and food safety standards
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
  • The capability to conduct thorough market research and translate insights into quality assurance processes
