I am looking for an individual to lead my clients Wordings and Contracts Practice, for their International Treaty Reinsurance team. This role will include:

  • Assessing, providing insights, and offering guidance on contract wordings drafted by carriers and intermediaries.
  • Refining and updating wordings to align with the latest industry best practices.
  • Developing and implementing an international training program.
  • Providing guidance and oversight to colleagues in the UK and internationally.
  • Assisting broker leads in creating slip contract templates, ensuring compliance with current regulations and best practices.
  • Expanding internal and external networks related to contract wordings.
  • Staying informed on industry trends, emerging issues, and market positions to provide expert advice and drive positive change.
  • Developing and growing our international wordings practice.
  • Enhancing our brand reputation and credibility with clients and market participants.
  • Deepening knowledge across the business through training, oversight, and expert advice.
  • Mentoring and coaching talent, nurturing the next generation of market-leading experts.
  • Assisting in wordings negotiations as needed.
  • Providing expert analysis on wording changes, comparing clauses and assessing their impact.
  • Conducting scenario analysis to stress-test wordings and clauses.
