Job Title: Technical Supervisor
Salary: 55,000 + overtime + on call (optional) + AP allowance
Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm
Location: City of London
Purpose of the Role
To provide planned and reactive technical support, assisting engineering teams to ensure that both operational performance and compliance standards are consistently met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical supervision to ensure delivery of all technical service commitments.
Manage HV/LV activities, ensuring full compliance with all applicable HV/LV regulations.
Ensure statutory and code compliance is maintained across all sites, with support from specialists where necessary.
Promote consistent delivery of risk management practices.Oversee updates to Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) for both mechanical and HV/LV operations.
Provide technical guidance and support to local site teams.
Ensure staffing structures and competencies are maintained, with HV Authorised Persons present at all necessary times.
Attend and contribute to operational meetings as required.
Promote consistency in the use of management systems and processes across all contracts.
Participate in regular meetings with site management to address any local concerns or issues.
Communicate contractual issues to senior management to facilitate resolution.
Support the raising of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, budgeting, and contract management.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within the maintenance or facilities management sector.
Strong technical background in electrical systems (MEP).
Experience working with HV/LV systems, with relevant authorisations or willingness to be trained.
Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation, compliance requirements, and best practice.
Ability to manage and motivate engineering teams effectively.
- Electrical qualification (Level 3 or Equivalent)
