My client, a leading law firm with a strong international presence, is looking to hire an Events Coordinator to join their London team. This role will work closely alongside the Events Manager to support client event delivery across UK, EMEA and APAC regions.

Role OverviewThe Events Coordinator will assist the Events Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of global events for my client including conferences, seminars, networking events, client briefings, corporate hospitality and more. This is a dynamic, newly created and exciting role for someone with around 2 years of experience in event planning, within the professional or legal services sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events outside the US, from initial concept to post-event follow-up
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to ensure the smooth execution of events
  • Manage event logistics including venue selection, travel arrangements, catering, audio/visual requirements, and accommodations
  • Support with handling event budgets, ensuring costs are within approved limits and tracking expenses
  • Coordinate event marketing, including invitations, attendee management, and event promotion
  • Assist with event materials, presentations, and on-site coordination
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality service
  • Support post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and prepare event reports

Required Skills and Experience

  • Around 2 years of experience in event coordination,in the professional services or legal sector (Essential)
  • Strong understanding of event logistics and management, with a proven ability to handle multiple events simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • A keen eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills
  • Experience with event management software and tools
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to accommodate varying time zones and international travel when required
  • Knowledge of legal industry events and conferences
