Events SpecialistCity of London£250 - £300 p/d12 Month FTCI have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Events Specialist to join a global investment firm in the City. The successful candidate will be experienced delivering multiple large-scale events across the UK and Europe. The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role within financial services and be flexible to travel as required in the role.What you’ll do:
  • Lead the strategic implementation of events regionally and internationally across Europe
  • Liaise with expert presenters and stakeholders
  • Communicate plans across multiple marketing channels, track results and adapt plans accordingly
  • Use systems such as Cvent, On24 and Kaltura to create event registration portals
  • Project manage the event on the day
  • Coordinate plans with the sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Adhere to global and local laws and regulations for the events
  • Source and manage vendors
What you’ll need:
  • Knowledge of Cvent is essential
  • Familiarity working within a fast-paced marketing team in financial services
  • Ability to travel to support on-site including international locations such as European countries
  • Great interpersonal communication including with senior members of the business
  • Ability to work to a deadline, pay attention to detail and prioritise
  • Fantastic negotiation skills
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication
