Salary: £40,000 – £48,000 per annum + Discretionary Annual 20% Bonus + Excellent Benefits!

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and ambitious Senior Event Producer to join our team at Wilmington Events, part of Wilmington plc.

If you have a passion for creating market-leading conferences and awards, and a research-led approach to event production, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

You will be responsible for producing 4-5 flagship events per year, including a mix of awards and conferences for our market-leading brands, ICA and Axco.

Your experience in delivering double-digit revenue growth, conducting in-depth market research, and writing commercially viable content will be crucial in helping us expand our portfolio.

Job Purpose, Tasks and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Producing 4-5 high-quality events per year, delivering commercially viable content that meets market needs.
  • Conducting detailed market research, including telephone interviews with key stakeholders, to identify trends, themes, and opportunities.
  • Developing and managing event agendas, awards categories, speaker line-ups, and judging panels.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure event success.
  • Writing compelling value propositions that highlight customer benefits and drive engagement.
  • Identifying potential sponsors and initiating contact to support business development efforts.
  • Project managing events from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines and revenue targets are met.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you must have / be:

  • Proven experience in B2B event production with demonstrable success in delivering double-digit revenue growth.
  • Experience in conference and awards production, with a strong understanding of commercial business practices.
  • Expertise in conducting market research to identify relevant sponsors and writing commercially viable content.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver successful events.
  • To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have:
  • A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with sales CRM systems such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics (desirable but not essential).
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset, with strong project management skills.
