The role is based in London SW4, requiring four days in the office and one day working from home each week.
Candidates must have experience with a DMC or Inbound Tour Operator and strong knowledge of the UK luxury market, particularly 5-star hotels.
The position involves handling event inquiries, negotiating with suppliers, and attending events, with some travel required throughout the year.
The salary for this role is competitive, and candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience.

Events Manager - our client is a long established UK DMC (Destination Manager) who handle luxury MICE (Meetings, Events and Incentives) coming from a varied international client base including USA, South America, Spain and Germany sending MICE groups to the UK.

Joining a small team with lovely offices based in London SW4, you will be office based 4 days a week and home based 1 day a week. As an Events Manager you will be handling the initial enquiry, creating interesting event and conference programmes, negotiating with all suppliers such as hotels, venues, restaurants and transport, booking all the event services and being on site during some of the events.

As Events Manager you will be working with a range of corporate clients including pharmaceutical, governments, financial services, motor and media industries.

Event Manager candidates must have experience of working with a DMC or Inbound Tour Operator with strong knowledge of the UK including knowledge of 5 star hotels as the company works within the luxury end of the market.

As part of the role you will be travelling, attending FAM trips and attending some events for 2/3 days at a time a few times a year. You role will be working closely with both clients and suppliers and developing your product knowledge by visiting destinations and doing hotel inspections.
