A Local Authority in West London is seeking a Resident Advisor to join their Resident Services team. This temporary role is set to begin immediately and will last for an initial period of three months (potential for extension) Payrate £19.36 per hour (PAYE) or £24.00 (Umbrella)Please note: this is an entirely office based position, working pattern Mon – Fri, hours 09:00 – 17:00.As Resident Advisor, you will provide exceptional service to residents who visit or contact the Council via face-to-face, telephone, and various digital channels such as chat, social media, and email.Your goal will be to deliver efficient and accurate assistance, addressing a wide range of council and partner services at the first point of contact, ensuring seamless interaction with back-office departments.Responsibilities:
  • Delivering excellent customer service to residents
  • Advising on a diverse range of council and partner services
  • Resolving queries at the first point of contact
  • Ensuring smooth interface with back-office departments
Candidate Profile:
  • Experienced customer service officer with a solid understanding of council services
  • Primarily face-to-face role, with some administrative and call centre tasks
  • Effective communication skills across all access channels
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Solution driven.
  • Proficient in using information and communications technology to access and convey information
  • Experience in a customer service centre or similar environment, delivering high-quality services
  • Skilled in handling challenging customers
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience working for another local authority an advance.
