Official Job Title: Partnerships Officer
Pay Rate: 15.40 Per Hour (PAYE) plus Holiday pay.
Location: E20 1JQ
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Job Purpose:
A Partnerships Officer is important in assisting the Partnerships Manager in the day-to-day administration of corporate and university partners for the Chevening Scholarship programme. The role further assists the team in managing and scoping new partnerships, helping to increase the number of partnerships worldwide.
Typical involvement will include:
- Review and manage central UK partnerships and non-ODA local partnerships, including partner MOUs
- Raise invoices and purchase orders for partners, and ensure invoices are sent through with a follow-up on payment.
- Support partner due diligence checks, as per FCDO policy.
- Administrative support to partners for basic queries.
- Support the partner award allocation process with internal teams.
- Maintain partnerships database, updating key information as required.
- Support with delivery of partner engagement events.
- Work with Chevening communications and alumni teams for partner profiling and impact reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level II Business Administration OR Customer Service OR three years' relevant administration experience
- Previous administrative experience is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant administrative or office-related qualifications are a plus.
