Our client, a leading player in the maritime industry, is on the lookout for a dedicated Team Assistant to join their IT department in London. This is your chance to be part of an organisation that is committed to excellence and innovation!

About the Role: As a Team Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the technical team on various projects. This position is not technical but requires an understanding or interest in IT and the ability to thrive in a corporate and fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and create documentation and processes to support the team
  • Maintain and organise departmental documentation and records
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing communications
  • Serve as a liaison between IT management and other departments, effectively communicating technical requirements to non-technical staff
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT strategies and business processes
  • Utilise IT systems and services, including SharePoint and MS Teams

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous Administration experience
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including SharePoint, Excel, Teams) and other productivity tools
  • Basic understanding of IT provision and data principles
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment; proficiency in English is essential, and additional languages are a plus
  • A detail-oriented, proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Previous experience in an administrative or technical assistant support role is highly desirable
