I am currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Analyst to join a Global Luxury Retail brand in West London. This role will suit someone whose had some exposure to commercial finance and now looking for the next step in their career. Experience with SAP is essential. Please email a copy of your CV to

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of daily and weekly sales and KPI reports for distribution to the business, ensuring accuracy and reporting occurs in a timely manner.
  • Analysis and deep dive of margin reporting and understanding trends to improve reporting and forecasting
  • Assist in sales and margin forecasting and budgeting
  • Reconciling Tableau to SAP on a weekly basis
  • Ownership of sales and margin audit process
  • Business Partner commercial dept heads where necessary to provide adhoc analysis (ie Free Shipping)
  • Turnover reporting - Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual audited turnover certificates to the landlords
  • Ownership of Non European sales tax reconciliation's
  • Support in the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Ensure key reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis (e.g. cash to sales, bank, sales and margin).
  • Ensure all month end journals and processes under remit are accurately calculated and posted within the agreed timetable, ultimately ensuring accuracy of the books (by nominal account and cost centre).
  • Business partner with assigned department heads, namely the sales channels
  • Support team in identifying and implementing areas for process change. Meet regularly with SAP specialist to coordinate IT projects affecting finance, testing and signing off any changes made.
  • Ownership and management of payment platforms
  • Finance point of call for testing and reviewing system changes (in test and development system)
  • Finance liaison with IT on all new IT systems with a finance impact (ie NEW ePOS system testing)
  • Responsible for assigned cash ledgers; this includes daily clearing and reconciliations of bank accounts, management of petty cash and till floats.
  • Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations and bank clearing accounts.
  • Posting of the bank statements into SAP
  • Assist with the year-end audit process across all companies.
  • Compliance - Assist with preparation of National Statistics forms (Sales, Capex etc) and Companies House filing requirements.
  • Assist with any ad hoc finance reporting and business projects.

Candidate Specification:

  • Part qualified or looking to study either CIMA or ACCA.
  • Prior experience in management accounts.
  • Knowledge of SAP financial module is essential.
  • Knowledge of Tableau is preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of RedAnt is preferred but not essential
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-starter, ability to work under own initiative.
  • Adaptable to change, enthusiastic and hardworking.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with non-finance functions and people at varying levels.
