Finance Analyst (Overheads) PE-Backed Market Leader, Central London, 60k - 65k + Bonus

The Role:
This role is a key contributor to the delivery of monthly financial reporting of all entities in the Group with a focus on Overhead related items such as Legal, Marketing & IT. You will be responsible for managing & allocating these cost inputs, working alongside the various department Leads and FinOps teams, and generating the financial reporting for this P&L section across the Group in local entities and consolidated reporting.
Contribution to the financial commentary, including analysis of the performance to Budget, will be expected as well as driving process improvements for timeliness & accuracy
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and allocate overhead costs with meticulous attention to IFRS-compliant accounting standards.
- Ensure alignment between cost attributes and budgeted financial reporting structures.
- Maintain accurate accrual-based accounting, including preparation of accrual journals, to support high-quality period-end close reporting.
- Business partner with key stakeholders, particularly within Marketing, Legal, and IT departments, to enhance financial understanding and decision-making.
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet control accounts to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
- Deliver variance analysis and financial commentary for the Management Reporting Pack.
- Support external audit processes by providing evidence and clear explanations as required.
- Leverage global financial tools and systems to drive efficiencies within the finance function.
Essentials:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/CA, CIMA or ACCA)
- Experience working in a multi-entity, multinational Group business
- Strong Excel skills required
- Experience of various ERP Systems
- Demonstrable knowledge of IFRS, particularly accruals
- Journal entry, Balance sheet & Management Accounts production experience
- Excellent internal & external communication skills
