Sonic Summary

The FP&A Analyst role, reporting to the Director of FP&A, involves providing finance business partnering services to key stakeholders in a PE-backed scaling business.
Key responsibilities include annual budgeting, strategic planning, forecasting, and creating management information reports for decision-making across various departments.
The position requires a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in P&L reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as a salary of £50,000 to £60,000 per year.
Candidates should be comfortable creating new reports and driving changes, while building robust relationships as a trusted business advisor.
Experience in tools like Power BI or Tableau and a background in retail, fashion, or FMCG is desirable, with hybrid working options available.

Reporting to the Director of FP&A, as FP&A Analyst you will play a pivotal role in providing FP&A and finance business partnering services to key stakeholders to support this PE backed scaling business. Duties to include.

Playing a key role in annual budgeting, strategic planning and forecasting activities
Creating value added MI reporting to various stakeholders across Sales, Merchandising, Finance and Exco to enable decision making and oversight over performance both weekly and monthly
To support pricing activities across UK and Europe and ensure gross margin is aligned with strategic objectives
Act as a Finance Business Partner to stakeholders across Sales, Merchandising, Marketing and Finance
Support projects such as new product roll out, new country roll out from an FP&A perspective

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and be looking to develop your FP&A and commercial finance skills within this fast growing business. You will have experience of P&L reporting and analysis and budgeting and forecasting.You will be comfortable in creating new reports, adding value to the business and driving changes versus following a process and building robust relationships where you are seen as a trusted business advisor. You will ideally have exposure to tools such as Power BI or Tableau.Experience of working within a scale-up or SME business desirable not essential and any experience gained within retail, fashion or FMCG desirable too.This client offers hybrid working, 2-3 days office and similar home.
