Role Overview

As an ESG Graduate Analyst, you will play a critical role in researching and evaluating ESG factors across various industries and investment opportunities. You will contribute to developing innovative strategies that align financial performance with sustainable and ethical practices. This role is ideal for graduates with a passion for sustainability and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on companies and industries to assess ESG risks, opportunities, and performance.

  • ESG Data Management: Analyse and interpret ESG data to support investment decisions and corporate strategies.

  • Report Preparation: Prepare detailed ESG reports, scorecards, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to promote ESG integration and alignment.

  • Market Monitoring: Stay updated on ESG trends, regulations, and industry developments to provide timely insights and recommendations.

  • Professional Development: Participate in structured training programmes and workshops to enhance your expertise in ESG analysis and sustainable finance.

  • Certification Sponsorship: Receive full sponsorship for professional certifications such as ESG Advisor Certificate, CFA ESG Investing Certificate, and other relevant CPD-accredited qualifications.

Who We’re Looking ForEssential Skills and Qualifications
  • A 2:1 or higher in a degree related to Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • A strong passion for ESG principles, sustainability, and ethical investing.

  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • A proactive and curious mindset, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Attributes
  • Knowledge of ESG frameworks such as UN PRI, GRI, or SASB is a plus but not required.

  • Familiarity with financial tools and platforms like Bloomberg or MSCI ESG Manager is advantageous.

  • Prior experience or internships in ESG, finance, or sustainability is beneficial.
