Investment Applications Support Analyst
Up to £350 per day (inside IR35 via Umbrella), depending upon experience
Hybrid working with 2 days per week in the offices in central London
6 months initially, with scope to extend further
A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a well-known financial organisation for an Investment Applications Support Analyst to join the business for an initial 6 months.
The successful candidate will provide application support to a number of Investments 3rd party applications, ensuring quality of service, resilience of controls and robustness of the services. You will assist with the resolution of incidents and problems, acting as a critical 2nd line support function and managing communications with the vendor and internal stakeholders. You will communicate operational outages, pertaining to assigned 3rd party application services, and associated resolution pathways to colleagues, ensuring that implications to downstream business process are understood & mitigated.
Skills required:
- Knowledge of investment management 3rd party applications (Bloomberg, FE Fundinfo, Factset, Aladdin, State Street Alpha Data, ADA or similar etc.)
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams
- Knowledge of service management practices and integration with Tech & Data Ops functions in a 2nd line capacity
- Experience of managing multiple stakeholders with a diverse range of needs and expectations
- Knowledge of operations and associated best practices for 3rd party applications encompassing:
- Maintenance/Upgrades/Fix Pathways
- Vendor & Customer specific roadmap maintenance
- Account management including KPIs and service reviews
