Lorien's leading Investment client is looking for an Investment Performance Analyst join our Policyholder Investment office team Asset Management function.

opportunity to support the management of Policyholder Funds; covering all aspects of investment, operations, stakeholder management, stewardship and development.

This role is based in London.

This role will be Via Umbrella.

Working in a Hybrid Model of 2 days a week on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of investment strategy, performance, portfolio construction and manager change as it relates to Policyholder Funds.
  • Responsible for BAU and ad-hoc issues effecting Policyholder business.
  • Assist in stakeholder management to include representation at governance forums, committees and independent oversight bodies as required.
  • Function as an Asset Management interface for Policyholder Investment Office with internal teams including Pensions and Savings, Finance, Compliance, Risk and Actuarial.
  • Work with and support Head of Portfolio Management and wider team in delivering optimal policyholder outcomes across With Profits.
  • Assess, design, and implement consolidation and harmonisation strategies.
  • Work with Asset Management colleagues on areas such Investment Strategy/Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) implementation, performance analysis, and integration of Sustainability and ESG.

Key Requirements

  • Broad understanding of all investment management, investment operations, regulatory environment, evolution, policyholder outcomes and product types
  • Knowledge of investment markets, investment strategy and fund management methodologies as they apply to With Profits
  • Understanding of asset classes across equities, fixed income, and alternatives (illiquid) and their application
  • Experience of interacting with stakeholders across multiple disciplines i.e. Actuarial, Finance, Operations and Risk.
  • Some progress in a relevant professional qualification (or willingness to pursue) and/or applicable work experience.
  • Broad understanding of legal, tax and regulatory environment.
