We are working with a global business travel agency in seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their finance team. This role is crucial for enhancing operational performance through financial insights and strategic advice. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Finance Business Partner/ FP&A Analyst, with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage relationships with senior leaders effectively.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Build strong and positive relationships with budget holders and the senior management team, providing analysis to drive commercial decisions.
  • Assist the offshore team with queries and review information provided by them.
  • Identify and pursue additional commercial opportunities, cost efficiencies, and risk management.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis, establish root causes, and provide insights in collaboration with the Accounting and Control team.
  • Work closely with the Accounting and Control team to gather key financial information and assist in data collation.
  • Develop and refine a monthly reporting pack, ensuring delivery by the specified deadline.
  • Present relevant financial information at monthly department meetings, including P&L performance overviews versus Budget/Forecast, KPIs, risks, opportunities, and non-financial indicators.
  • Support the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis in meeting tight budget/forecast deadlines.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and generate market insight reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA, or equivalent) with ideally 2 years PQE.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis, forecasting, and bid modelling.
  • Strong financial background in FP&A and business partnering.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A results-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused approach.
