Equifind are supporting a property investment group to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager to join their London operation.
Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, this role offers the opportunity to lead and manage a dedicated team while taking on a diverse range of responsibilities. These include overseeing transaction processing, payments, CIS returns, project management, and driving the streamlining and improvement of processes.
This is a dynamic and multifaceted position, ideal for someone eager to make a meaningful impact across various financial and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of a team (2-employees) including training, development, retention and recruitment.
- Oversee financial operations across 75-entities, with intercompany funding and reconciliation complexities.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing of invoices, CIS returns, payments, and intercompany postings.
- Lead improvements and maintain excellence in financial systems, with particular expertise required in Yardi software.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, mitigate risk, and maintain compliance across all financial processes.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support long-term financial objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar finance management role, ideally within a property-based business.
- A minimum of 5-years experience in a similar role.
- Technical skills: in-depth knowledge of a property management software (Yardi, Qube, MRI...)
- Proven team management with ability to motivate people in a high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage large transaction volumes and complex reconciliations.
- Willingness to work 3-days a week in the office (not contractual) and adapt to the needs of the business.

- £55-65,000 PA (DOE)
