ASC Finance Business Partner

Post title:Finance Business Partner (Adult Social Care)

Day rate:£500 - £600 inside IR35

Location:Once a week on site

Length:3 - 6 months

We are working with a Local Authority client who in need of a Finance Business Partner on an interim basis to work alongside the Adult Social Care Service Directorate team to support the Head of Finance in providing a full range of financial direction, support and guidance.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

1. To support the Directorates Senior Management and their budget managers to deliver their budget management responsibilities
2. Translate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders and effectively challenge senior managers, in ensuring robust financial management of each business area
3. Provide direct financial support to the Directorates to enable them to develop their strategic financial plans
4. Ensure that the future needs of the service are reflected in the Council's medium term financial forecasts
5. Support the Head of Finance in the provision of high-quality financial advice to Corporate Directors, Heads of Service and budget managers across the Directorates

Experience needed

1. Must have previous experiencing in supporting budget holders in the Adult Social Care services gained from in the local authority sector
2. Possess previous experience in producing management accounts
3. Strong experience in providing financial advice and guidance in a local council environment
