Role Responsibilities
  • Manage audit and accounts services for a broad portfolio of clients across various industries
  • Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Review financial statements and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Review year-end accounts
  • Review accounts and audit clients’ working papers
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, helping them develop their skills
  • Act as the key contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and delivering outstanding service
  • Identify and act on business development opportunities to support the firm’s growth
  • Provide ad-hoc advice to clients, helping lead one-off projects where required

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, with significant experience in both audit and accounts
  • Qualified by experience also considered
  • Proven ability to manage client portfolios and oversee audit assignments
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Leadership experience, with a focus on mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities
  • IT proficient, with experience using Microsoft Office, IRIS and Xero
